Marketing guy since 1978, artist since birth. The trip began in retail grocery, followed by advertising, hospitality, homebuilding, commercial art/graphics, publishing and, most recently, space and commercial satellites. Sitting on the porch at the end of the day and admiring your day’s work is what I like best.

In 2009, I’ve taken to performing some interesting consulting projects — primarily helping companies and non-profits build up their Web sites. The Two River Interiors site was introduced earlier this year, and I’m currently working on the Pacific Cable Products site.

Editing the ReallyRocketScience.com blog is something I continue to do, as well as advising a number of initiatives in the commercial satellite industry.

The photo above was taken in September of 1996, on the banks of the Colorado River, inside the Grand Canyon. The 3-day event for Smithsonian advertisers was operated by Arizona River Runners. I did all the customer logistics for the magazine, including travel arrangements and communications. It was a great trip and I’d recommend it to any company looking to build a stronger bond with their customers and/or employees.
